As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as loading, and lifting/launching boats and equipment. • This job requires employees to spend the majority of their time outdoors. This is a year-round position. The marina is open 7 days a week and is also open on some holidays. “`Responsibilities“`
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Launch and retrieve boats safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Able to communicate clearly with others
• Capable of working well independently “`Experience“` To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
• Experience OR willingness to learn to safely operate heavy equipment and standard equipment such as marina forklifts, golf carts, tractors, boats, and more
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and directions
