Part Time Marina Equipment Operator/Dock Attendant Dataw Island 100 Marina Drive, Saint Helena Island, SC 29920 Marina Dock Attendant/Equipment Operator We are seeking a Part-time Marina Equipment Operator/Dock Attendant to join our team.
Job Summary:
Operating and maintaining various types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner while assisting with on-demand tasks on the docks.
Job Duties:
Operates equipment including marina forklift and marina travel lift, golf carts, tractors, and boats as required. Aids members and guests on the docks as they are departing and returning, assists in launching, retrieving boats, fueling boats, and all on-demand dock needs. Performs routine maintenance on equipment. Ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner. Follows all safety protocols and guidelines. Reports any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor. Harbor Master Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Equipment Operator or similar role. Boating and mechanical knowledge is preferred. Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Ability to work well in a team environment Comfortable working outside and near the water Good communication skills Push, pull or lift 50 pounds. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
