Equipment Operator 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Charleston, SC 29492 We are seeking a skilled Bulldozer and excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating bulldozers and other heavy equipment to assist in various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites. Responsibilities Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform tasks such as digging, grading, and building as required by project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other operators and construction personnel to complete projects on time. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in horizontal drilling and backhoe operation as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues with equipment or site conditions. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with bulldozers and excavators. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Experience with commercial driving, including tanker operations, is preferred. Familiarity with grader operation and other construction machinery is a plus. Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
