Primary Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, and graders, utilizing GPS technology for accurate positioning. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers to understand site requirements and project specifications for efficient operation. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on site to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in site preparation, grading, and earthmoving activities in line with project timelines. Monitor equipment operation and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the relevant personnel. Document daily operations, including machinery usage and project progress, for record-keeping and reporting purposes
Position Requirements:
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in construction environments Familiarity with GPS technology (Topcon/Trimble) and its application in heavy equipment operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively in a team environment.
