Charleston Detailed Description:

Non-Ferrous Sorting Line Employees will sort materials that are loaded onto a moving conveyor belt, and transported into a large material baler. Employees will be removing unwanted materials such as Steel, Tin, Rubber, Plastics, Wood and other debris, as well as sorting out other Non-Ferrous materials to create clean sellable products. This position requires consistent hours of standing, hand sorting through materials, and light clean up and maintenance duties. Lifting rate should not exceed 50 Lbs. Ferrous Sorting Table Employees will sort Ferrous (Steel, Iron, Cast Iron, Stainless Steel Etc.) materials that come out of a metal shearing machine and eject onto a shaker table. Materials will move across the table and employees will then remove the unwanted materials from the product line. This position requires consistent hours of standing and lifting materials that should not exceed 75 Lbs. Clean up and maintenance duties include; sweeping, shoveling, debris removal, and light duty maintenance tasks. Personal Protective Equipment required consists of ; Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Hi-Visibility clothing or Vest, Ear Plugs or Hearing Protection, and Puncture resistant steel-toed boots or shoes and leather palm work gloves.
