Equipment Operator II Position Available In Greenwood, South Carolina

Equipment Operator II Greenwood County, SC 1115 Siloam Church Road, Greenwood, SC 29646 Greenwood County is looking for a team players to join the Road/ SWD crews. These require you to operate and perform routine preventative maintenance on various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, motor graders, equipment crane, pans, compactors, etc. Duties include but not limited to: spreading, compacting and covering waste; digging trenches; grading and stock piling soil. Assists with various other department duties as needed, including operating weigh station; maintaining wastewater pump station and leachate pond, maintaining groundwater, monitoring wells, etc. Works under close to general supervision according to set procedures, this determines how or when to complete tasks. Full Time•Equipment Operator II Position for the Road and Landfill departments

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

High School graduate or GED equivalent. One year of heavy equipment operation experience or related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Schedule:

Road:

4•10 hour days

SWD:

5•8 hour days
