As a Scrap Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties in a outdoor environment. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and safely. “`Duties, Including, but not limited to:“`

• Weigh vehicles full and empty to record purchases.
• Load and unload materials customer vehicles using hands or forklift.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Assist with rigging and securing loads for transport
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing the yard
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Handle paperwork associated with conducting business, delivery transactions, and government-required documentation.
• Effective housekeeping in workplace area is an ongoing operation for safety and better hygienic conditions for all team members “`Qualifications“`
• Previous experience working in a Scrap Yard preferred
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
