ASPX Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled work in operations and maintaining motorized heavy equipment in the Transportation Division of Public Works. May operate various heavy equipment such as grader, roller, backhoe, bush hog, and dump truck in the fields of paving, drainage, grading, construction, and maintenance of all county roads.
Additional Job Requirements :
Drives various trucks and hauls material and equipment. Uses tamps, chainsaws, pole saws, concrete mixers, and additional small equipment.
Training and Experience:
Will be provided with training to obtain CDL Class A license. Must obtain Commercial Driver’s Permit within 6 months of date of hire.
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state issued Driver’s License.
