Erosion Control / Heavy Equipment Operator Carolina Infrastructure and Development Columbia, SC 29215 Carolina Infrastructure and Development is currently accepting resumes for a highly motivated construction professional to join our team as an Erosion Control Operator in Columbia SC. We are a general contractor serving residential and commercial construction clients. The Erosion Control Operator will be responsible for monitoring projects during or after construction to ensure projects conform to design specifications. Revisit land to view implemented land use practices or plans.

Typical Duties:

Installing silt fence, hydroseeding (grassing), spreading of baled straw, etc. Process daily timesheets. Coordination and cooperation with other onsite operations as necessary. Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental, and OSHA requirements are followed at all times. Performs miscellaneous job‐related duties as assigned. Job Requirements • Must be able to work independently and within a team. Skilled operator with multiple equipment including a skid steer, backhoe, or mini excavator. Capable of personnel management and accountability. Must be able to work in a safety-conscious manner. Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, and other unusual elements, such as loud noise, dirt, dust, fumes, etc. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean background and pass a drug test.
