Essential Job Functions:

- Ability to lead and communicate with precise direction to crew members daily, weekly and monthly goals
- Ability to perform all crew member functions and responsibilities
- Conduct make ready by ensuring that the correct material is selected, and machine settings are set for optimal run speed for producing high quality edge guard.
- Ensure that customer packaging and quality standards are met. Verify thickness, width, length, glue adherence, board angle, and accurate piece count. (Band, tag, and wrap palettes)
- Follows established standard operating procedures and works to meet all score card metrics. (safety, quality, production, and waste management)
- Conducts line clearance to ensure that customer/material mixture does not occur
- Completes all required documents
- Responsible for material handling and product segregation
- Performs preventative maintenance and housekeeping of workstations
- Ability to read a tape measure and measure up to 1/32
- Adhere to safety rules and guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
