Qualifications Excavator Mid-level Construction Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Machine Operator to operate a variety of heavy equipment used in construction, demolition, excavation, and other site development projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, backhoes, and loaders in a safe and effective manner. Follow project plans and instructions provided by supervisors and engineers. Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues to maintenance staff. Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas. Clear and level land, dig trenches, and assist with building foundations and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Keep records of work performed and materials used. Work collaboratively with other crew members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Minimum [3] years of experience operating heavy machinery in construction or related fields. Strong understanding of equipment capabilities, limitations, and safety procedures. Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes is a plus. Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to [X] lbs.

Work Conditions:

Outdoor construction environments with varying weather conditions. Potential exposure to dust, noise, and hazardous materials. Work may require long hours, weekends, or overtime based on project needs.
