Experienced Wheel Loader Operator Tri-County Crushed Stone Greenback, TN 37742 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including loaders, dump trucks, and water trucks, on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and efficiency. Duties Operate a large wheel loader to load on-road and off-road dump trucks with crushed stone and other materials. Maintain proper stockpile management and loading accuracy to minimize spillage and maximize load efficiency. Inspect and maintain equipment daily for safe operation. Communicate with the scale house, plant operators, and drivers to ensure smooth material flow. Follow all site safety rules and quarry procedures. Experience 2+ years of experience operating a wheel loader in a quarry, gravel pit, or similar environment. MSHA certification is a plus. Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment around other machines, trucks, and personnel. Experience loading tandem and tri-axle dump trucks with clean, level loads. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Ability to work in outdoor conditions year-round. Safety-conscious with a good track record. Familiarity with quarry products and aggregate types. Basic mechanical knowledge for preventative maintenance.
