Heavy Equipment Operator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars South Pittsburg, TN 37380 We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Equipment Operator to join our crew at Civil Industries, LLC, an affiliated company of Alchemy Properties, LLC. Civil Industries specializes in public works and private construction site development, including grading, trenching, utility installation, and demolition. Some travel from time to time may be required within the state of Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, graders, and bulldozers Perform manual labor tasks with the ability to lift 50 lbs Assist labor crew as needed Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Use of power and hand tools Maintain Daily records of equipment condition Perform Daily Maintenance (Greasing, Fluids, Filters, Etc.) Keep Equipment clean and free of trash and debris
Required Skills:
Experienced with heavy machinery, specifically excavators and dozers. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness Eagerness to learn and apply mentor feedback Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
Preferred Skills:
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, graders, bulldozers, and/or loaders
