Scraper Operator – Excavation McKinney Excavating, Inc 110 County Rd 180, Athens, TN 37303 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scraper Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely while adhering to industry standards. Starting at $20.00/hr – pay depends on experience. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, backhoes. Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment by conducting regular inspections and reporting any mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress. Experience Proven experience in operating heavy machinery on construction sites is preferred. Familiarity with bulldoze, backhoe operation, dump truck driving. Commercial driving experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
