Asphalt Roller Operator 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars Lebanon, TN 37087 The Asphalt Roller Operator must have experience working with a breakdown and/or finish roller. This role is best suited for a team player who is action-oriented and can work with a firm, yet considerate disposition.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site. Perform asphalt rolling in accordance with DOT, local and commercial specifications. Ability to perform pre-use inspections on equipment. Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew. Operate roller using specific patterns and forms consistent with top quality paving standards. Conduct work with proper safety equipment. Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate job site terrain. Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew. Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every contact. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills needed:

Ability to operate a Wacker roller, CAT roller, or similar roller required. Ability to operate Paver, Skid Steer is a plus. Minimum 2-3 years working in Asphalt paving. Must be willing to work weekends. Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Confidentiality and trustworthiness
