The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of the remodeling process. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure proper mixing of paint colors and materials to achieve desired results. Conduct touch-ups and repairs on existing painted surfaces. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as drywall installers and carpenters to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform minor repairs as needed. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction or remodeling industry. Proficiency with power tools and basic carpentry skills including frame carpentry and drywall installation. Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finishes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.
