Painter New England Builders & Remodelers LLC West Hartford, CT 06117 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of building and renovation processes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Renovate and restore surfaces through plastering and other finishing techniques. Perform trim carpentry tasks related to painting projects. Install fixtures as needed in conjunction with painting duties. Finish concrete surfaces as required for various projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the preparation and application processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within construction or renovation settings. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is preferred. Strong skills in plastering, trim carpentry, fixture installation, concrete finishing, and masonry are highly desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
