The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on commercial and residential sites and requires the ability to follow instructions, perform drywall repairs and utilize brushes And rollers effectively. The Painter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary. Review work assignments with foreman to determine the scope of work required. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Work with various materials including drywall, stucco, and compound. Perform trim carpentry tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of painted surfaces. Collaborate with foreman and owner to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites. Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating areas for paint coverage. Experience Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices. Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment. Experience with drywall installation and repair is a plus. Ability to renovate spaces efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
