Job Description:
Painting and finishing of interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures. Preparing surfaces for coating by scraping, sanding, scraping, cleaning, etc. Using various tools to apply various coatings to surfaces. Cleaning and maintaining equipment. Working with chemicals in the process of painting. Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high degree of quality. Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining a high degree of quality. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in carpentry, drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, and stucco applications Compensation is based on skill level: $15 per hour for basic painting abilities $17 per hour for proficiency with brushes and rollers $19 or more per hour for expertise with paint sprayers
