Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential painting and possess a variety of handy skills to ensure high-quality finishes on various surfaces. This role involves working on construction sites and requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying caulk as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Perform drywall repairs and finishing to ensure smooth surfaces before painting. Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance aesthetic appeal in painted areas. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and repairs. Read and interpret schematics and project plans to understand job requirements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
