The Powder Coater is responsible for a safe and clean work area when coating prepped surfaces. The Powder Coater play a crucial role in enhancing the durability, appearance, and protection of metal products through precise application techniques. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Functions include the following. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. The Powder Coater maintains equipment, quality checks, organize product, coating prepped area and properly store finished products .
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Work in confined areas of the shop
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Prepare surfaces with efficiency
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections of products to ensure high-quality finishes & meets company standards
- Follow directions regarding project specifications Education, Experience and Preferred Qualifications include the following.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in powder coating technology is preferred.
- Self motivated
- Knowledge of different metal types and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Effectively communicate amongst various departments and ability to work as a team member
- Background check and drug screen are required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Extreme heat or cold weather conditions

- Physically able to repetitively lift and/ or carry 50+ lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, grasp, kneel, squat, bend, reach, crouch.
