Sandblaster 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars Jacksonville, FL 32207 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or finishing by using sandblasting techniques. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed. The Sandblaster will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces as required. Prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants by hand, pressure washing and eventually sandblasting. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met. Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. Working overtime on short notice. Dependable transportation and good driving record. Team player, good communicator. Skills Proficient in fixture installation and caulking techniques. Experience in masonry work and the ability to restore various surfaces. Knowledge of airless paint spraying and industrial painting methods. Experience in residential painting is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. 1 year of Sandblasting experience.
Payrate:
$20 – $25.00/hour based on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 1 hour lunch.
