Painter Tradewell Painting Fort Myers, FL 33967 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and various painting techniques. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other construction professionals. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a clean and finished look for all projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Conduct remodeling tasks as needed to ensure surfaces are ready for painting. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate colors and finishes. Perform concrete finishing work as required for specific projects. Execute frame carpentry tasks related to painting projects when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Experience Proven experience in commercial and residential painting is essential. Familiarity with caulking techniques and surface preparation methods is preferred. Knowledge of construction painting practices is an advantage. Experience with concrete finishing will be considered a plus. Understanding of frame carpentry is beneficial but not mandatory.
