With nearly 50 years of experience in the industry, we provide quality fabrication services to a variety of customers across the US, and we are constantly looking for opportunities to grow and expand. As a local, family-owned business, we have a long-term commitment to our employees and community. Currently we are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as Painter Helpers at our Open Shop (non-union) location in Duette . Our standard four-day work schedule is 6:00 am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday. Overtime hours offered most weeks. Position will be responsible for mixing, matching and applying paint to products, as well as prepping and sandblasting product.
Responsibilities Include:
Prep products for sandblast and coating Mix all paint materials Operate forklift, man baskets, etc. Other tasks as assigned by management Follow all company rules and policies Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on given task The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Valid Driver’s License Ability to read and comprehend MSDS and paint data sheets Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and written
Experience:
Applying paint to steel products Knowledgeable of all product lines
Physical Requirements:
Lift from floor 50 pounds Lift overhead 20 pounds Lift and hand carry 30 pounds Push and pull 50 pounds Elevated work Ability to twist, bend, crawl and kneel Ability to climb stairs and ladders Work in extreme heat for entire shift Stand continuously Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) with match
