Aerospace Painter 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars North Miami Beach, FL 33160 We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Painter to join our team. The Aerospace Painter will be responsible for preparing, priming, painting, and finishing aerospace components and structures to meet industry standards and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and proficiency with specialized tools and equipment used in aerospace painting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces of aerospace components by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer coatings as needed. Mix paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications, ensuring the correct consistency and color match. Apply coatings to parts, assemblies, and structures using spray guns, brushes, or other tools, ensuring smooth and uniform finishes. Inspect completed work for defects, including inconsistencies in coverage, texture, or finish, and correct any issues. Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding the use of hazardous materials. Work with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure coatings meet specifications and industry standards. Maintain equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and airbrush tools, ensuring they are cleaned and functioning properly. Safely handle and store chemicals, paints, and coatings as per safety guidelines. Maintain detailed records of work completed, including the types of materials used, time spent on tasks, and any corrective actions taken. Follow all company and industry safety standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
