PAINTER/FIBERGLASS TECHNICIAN
Holland Fiberglass and Restoration LLC Orlando, FL Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter and/or Fiberglass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Fiberglass Tech repairing of auto, boats, rv, theme park rides, and general fiberglass needs Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Fabricate and assemble components as required for specific projects. Work with millwork and other materials to achieve desired finishes. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively and safely during the painting process. Operate forklifts for materials handling when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Painter must be crossed trained in Fiberglass repairs. Both needs at LEAST 3 years experience. Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools. Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. Must have knowledge with various types of paint products. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements.
