$53.7K – $69.3K a year 19 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Supervises and performs the following duties of a small crew Knowledge on how to use the correct tools for various tasks Brush, roller, striping machine, taping and masking equipment, caulk gun, spray equipment, air compressor, hand tools, ladder, scaffolding, etc. Responsible for the application of varnish, polyurethane, primer, paint, caulk and other coatings Mask, protect, and prepare surfaces for coatings Clean and maintain equipment by removing all traces of paint Repair imperfections properly Perform exterior and interior painting of commercial buildings, drywall, steel, equipment, structures, etc. Responsible for keeping the work area clean Responsible for loading, unloading, and preparing, materials and tools Provide quality work and take corrective action for conditions that may affect job quality Responsible for the setup and execution of tasks on scaffolding and ladders Communicate with Superintendents about planning manpower and materials Manage manpower Assign manpower to tasks in groups or teams to complete tasks efficiently Track progress and efficiency of each team Hold each team or group accountable for assigned tasks Make sure they are following safety requirements Quality control Make sure quality work is being performed Make sure daily tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
