Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to buildings or other structures
• Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other tools to apply paint or coatings
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surfaces during painting
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when working on job sites

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter in construction or related field
• Proficient in using power tools and equipment commonly used in painting
• Knowledge of trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
