Affordable Contracting Inc is seeking a reliable and experienced Painter to join our growing home remodeling team in Oldsmar, FL. This role requires careful surface preparation and expert application of paint and finishes on interior residential surfaces. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning sanding and patching walls and ceilings Fill imperfections using caulk plaster putty or suitable materials Mix match and apply paints stains and finishes precisely Use brushes rollers and spray equipment for paint application Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths plastic or masking tape Follow blueprints and project specifications accurately Perform touch-ups and finishing to meet high quality standards Clean tools equipment and job sites after each project Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies Collaborate with carpenters drywallers and other team members for coordinated work

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Proven experience as a professional painter in residential construction Familiarity with painting tools and application methods Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing materials Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity Ability to work on ladders scaffolding or in tight spaces as required Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in a team Physical ability to stand lift and bend for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or formal training in painting or related trades Experience with both interior and exterior residential painting Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and compliance
