Field Painter Trainee Position Available In Sarasota, Florida

Field Painter Trainee All Surface Painting Company North Port, FL We are hiring Painter Helpers to join our growing team! No experience? No problem — we’re looking for dependable individuals who are willing to learn and eager to work. Experienced painters are also welcome to apply. We primarily work on commercial properties and large condominium projects throughout Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties . Most of the work is exterior , so you must be comfortable working outside in the Florida heat .

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks Support paint application using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Set up and clean job sites and maintain an organized work area Learn to read project details and follow instructions accurately Use hand tools and power tools under supervision Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment Work alongside experienced painters and tradespeople on site

Requirements:

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members Reliable transportation is required (jobs are located across Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties) Must be comfortable working outdoors for long periods, including in hot and humid weather Must be dependable and show up consistently Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Willing to work in commercial and condo environments (interior and exterior) Preferred (but not required): Experience with painting or construction tools Familiarity with basic measurements and job-site math Maintenance or handyman experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join Us?
