The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects, including residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Restore surfaces through techniques such as drywall repair and plastering. Utilize power tools for cutting and shaping materials as needed. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Perform masonry work when required for surface preparation. Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the finished appearance of painted areas. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in industrial painting techniques is preferred. Familiarity with masonry, drywall repair, plastering, and trim carpentry is advantageous. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finish. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with painting duties.
