Painter ITBMSD Albany, GA 31704 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role involves working on diverse projects, including remodeling and new construction, while ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment. Work with stucco and other materials to achieve desired textures and finishes. Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, sanding, and finishing tasks. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Follow color theory principles to select appropriate colors and finishes for each project. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards. Experience Proven experience in residential​​ painting, industrial painting, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with remodeling projects is a plus. Basic math skills are essential for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
