Our company specializes in servicing apartment complexes, and the ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set that includes painting, drywall repair, ceiling repair, and trim work. You’ll be working in mostly unoccupied units, but at times, will also work in occupied units, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Assist painters with prep work, clean-up, and material handling. Set up job sites including drop cloths, ladders, and equipment. Mask and protect floors, furniture, and fixtures. Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching, and caulking). Assist with drywall repairs (small holes, cracks, patches, texture matching). Assist with ceiling repair/replacement, including patching and refinishing. Assist with removal and installation of baseboards and trim as needed. Apply paints and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Take direction well and support team needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work in occupied and vacant apartment units with minimal disruption. Communicate job status and issues with supervisors or property managers. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Clean tools and maintain supplies.

Preferred Experience:

Drywall patching and repair Ceiling texture matching and minor repairs Baseboard and trim removal/installation Interior and exterior painting Working in apartment or multi-family environments

Qualifications:

1+ years of painting and light repair experience Familiarity with common tools, materials, and repair techniques Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Willingness to learn and take direction Some experience with tools, paint, or basic repairs is a plus Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders, and stand for extended periods Must be able to pass a background check Available to work occasional weekends or extended hours when needed
