Residential Painter B&R Contractors LLC Griffin, GA 30224 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, as well as a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Execute drywall repairs and finishing to ensure smooth surfaces prior to painting. Work on various projects including residential homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Perform concrete finishing tasks as required for specific projects. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide color theory insights for optimal results. Install trim carpentry elements when needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted areas. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is essential. Proficiency with hand tools and painting equipment is required. Knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques is preferred. Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is a plus. Experience in industrial painting environments is advantageous. Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in making informed choices. Ability to perform trim carpentry tasks when necessary for project completion. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
