Tonti Communities Duties:
To maintain all indoor and outdoor painting Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of building, furniture, equipment and other structures Washes, scrapes, sands, torches and smooths interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other related materials. Cleans equipment, paint mixing area and work area Installs, repairs, and maintains drywall, wall texturing and ceiling acoustic texturing Determines appropriate color for new or replacement applications through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products Operates compressor, stripping machine, sand blaster, spray equipment and other small powered equipment. Repairs and installs wall vinyl (wallpaper) Identification, safe handling and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials. Qualifications:
High School degree or GED Three years hands-on experience working on minor painting and wallpaper applications
