Painter Reed’s Home Improvement Lafayette, LA 70508 Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in residential painting and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, and possess the ability to work effectively in construction site environments. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate with other tradespeople. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying plaster as needed. Execute residential painting projects with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes. Utilize airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application on large surfaces. Perform drywall installation and repair as part of renovation tasks. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain tools and equipment, including power tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Follow safety protocols while working on-site to maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting and renovation work. MUST have your own transportation/vehicle. Familiarity with drywall installation is preferred. Proficient in using power tools and airless paint sprayers. Basic knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
