Role:

PTG Painting is growing fast — and we’re looking for a reliable, experienced exterior painter to take on steady, high-paying projects as a 1099 subcontractor. We’re booking large exterior residential jobs weekly and need a lead painter who can work independently or with a helper, handle prep, and deliver clean, professional results.

Responsibilities:

Complete full exterior repaints, including trim, clapboard, and shutters Perform proper surface prep: scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming Apply paint using brush, roller, and sprayer (as needed) Set up ladders and safety equipment for 1-2 story homes Maintain a clean and organized worksite Communicate progress and job status clearly with our team Manage helpers (if applicable)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional exterior painting experience Comfortable with ladders and two-story work Spraying experience (preferred) Must have own reliable vehicle and basic tools Able to work independently and maintain quality standards Punctual, professional, and respectful on job sites Eligible to work as a 1099 contractor

Pay:

$25-$30 per hour (depending on experience) Paid weekly via direct deposit Bonuses available for speed and quality

Schedule:

Part-time to start (2-4 days/week) Flexible hours based on job volume Opportunity to grow into full-time crew leadership
