Our Cabinet Shop is known for producing high-end, custom cabinetry with a focus on precision, beauty, and durability. We are seeking an experienced finish painter to apply professional finishes to wood cabinetry in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sand, stain, seal, and paint cabinetry and wood components using spray equipment and hand techniques Mix and match stains or paints to desired shades and finishes Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and finishing area Ensure safe use and proper maintenance of finishing tools and materials Collaborate with assembly and production teams for optimal workflow
Qualifications:
2+ years of finish painting experience in a cabinetry or furniture environment Skilled in the use of spray equipment and finishing materials Strong understanding of wood types, grain patterns, and finish reactions Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with custom or high-end cabinet finishing Familiarity with water-based and oil-based products
