Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Valid drivers license. 5 years plumbing experience. 5 years pump and motor rebuild & install experienceJourneyman Painter experience required. Journeyman Carpernter experience required. A strong customer service background is a must Spa Maint., Television & Must assume a leadership role in the absence of the supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to teach all phases of painting, drywall texture and repair. Must have a vast of colorant mixing and matching. Must be able to repair and match and surface. Ability to be foward looking and innovative. Must be able to work cooperatively with others and meet Harrahs customer service standards. Ability to comply with safety policies and proceedures. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Must be able to work unsupervised, schedule own work activities, order correct parts to properly repair and maintain entire property.

Physical & Mental Demands:

Ability to continuously stand, sit or crawl and maneuver in confined areas, i.e., ceiling, casino, elevators, guest rooms, kitchens. Ability to clean and stock shop and storeroom areas. Ability to acknowledge, greet and converse in English to customers. Respond to visual and oral signals. Ability to operate and communicate by two-way radio. Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures. Ability to push or pull 100 lbs or more. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to continuously stand, sit and walk entire shift. Ability to work in constantly changing environment, hot or cold, wind, rain, exposure to elements and temperature changes of 100 degrees to below freezing. Physical dexterity to reach above head, bend and twist at waist and knees to change light bulbs, filters, operate power tools, hand tools, driving pick-up, golf cart, use ladders, clean pool tiles, water treatment of facilities. Operate, maintain and install equipment in area of job specialty. Exposure to Hazardous Chemicals. Ability to give friendly excellent service. Ability to tolerate area’s containing secondary smoke.,
