Banner Elk, NC 28604 Overview We are seeking a skilled Cabinet and Furniture Painter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and materials, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints and stains to achieve desired colors and textures while understanding color theory. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements. Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for various projects. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Knowledge of stucco, plaster application techniques, and commercial painting practices. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Familiarity with remodeling processes is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites. References are
