As a Lead Painter, you will be a hands-on leader, responsible for overseeing projects, mentoring junior painters, and serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers. Responsibilities :
Lead, mentor, and supervise a small crew of painters and laborers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. Perform and supervise all aspects of preparation and painting, including pressure washing, drywall repair, sanding, and finishing. Serve as the main on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism. Conduct quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee all work meets and exceeds company standards. Train new team members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage job site inventory, including materials and tools, and report any needs to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for the entire team. Work alongside your team, demonstrating expert-level skills and leading by example.
Requirements:
Proven experience in professional painting (3-5 years preferred) with a portfolio of completed projects. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience in a supervisory or lead role. Expert knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, materials, and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected site challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers. A commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Must be in excellent physical condition with the ability to perform rigorous tasks and climb/move ladders safely.
