The painter must have their transportation, neat and clean, and ready to work once on site. The job calls for some out-of-town travel occasionally, so the individual must be prepared to travel with the team for those duties. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint using various techniques, including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods. Work with stucco finishes and drywall installations to enhance the overall appearance of structures. Read blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution of tasks. Utilize hand tools effectively for various labor tasks related to painting and remodeling projects. Collaborate with team members to renovate spaces according to client requirements while maintaining safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Experience Previous experience in painting, construction, or remodeling is preferred. Familiarity with color theory and its application in various projects is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to painting and construction tasks. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is highly desirable. Experience with drywall installation and stucco application will be considered a plus.
