Painter The Sanderling Description Position Overview:
As a Painter at the Sanderling Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and physical condition of the resort.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and painting of interior and exterior of buildings. Inspecting buildings for any painting or repairs. Patching and repairs to drywall and trim. Ensuring rooms are painted in a neat and presentable manner. Staining, finishing, and painting of indoor and outdoor furniture. Maintaining the inventory of paints and materials. Clean-up of equipment and surroundings upon completion. Assisting other team members as needed.
Position Requirements:
Prior experience with high quality painting is essential Experience using paint sprayers. Ability to work on own and part of a team. Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. Proficient in the use of basic tools. Ability to prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines for work assignments. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
