The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on residential projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Perform industrial painting tasks as required for specialized projects. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on remodeling and construction projects. Assist in construction estimating by assessing project needs and material requirements. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during painting tasks. Conduct repairs on drywall and masonry surfaces prior to painting. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of project Requirements Proven experience in painting with knowledge of various techniques and materials. Skills in caulking, drywall repair, masonry work, and basic carpentry are highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently. Experience in industrial painting is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting. Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
