Painter/Laborer Starzykpainting Wilmington, NC 28405 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and labor-intensive tasks within the construction industry. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. Duties Perform painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes on various surfaces. Assist in carpentry tasks, including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and drywall installation. Utilize power tools effectively and safely for various construction projects. Engage in plastering activities as needed to prepare surfaces for painting or finishing. Collaborate with team members to estimate project requirements and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support other construction activities as required, including building structures and assisting with welding tasks. Experience Proven experience in painting is essential. Familiarity with carpentry techniques, including frame and trim carpentry, is highly desirable. Experience with drywall installation and plastering will be considered an asset. Proficiency in using power tools and understanding their safe operation is required. Previous experience in construction estimating is a plus, aiding in project planning and execution.
