This role involves various tasks related to painting and labor on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed to high standards. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment while utilizing various tools and techniques. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Assist in drywall installation and repair, ensuring smooth finishes. Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Engage in masonry work for structural elements when required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform basic maintenance as needed. Utilize power tools safely and effectively on job sites. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in painting or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
