Painter/Life Safety Inspector• 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 306 Revere Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278 JOB The Orange County Asset Management Services Department has an opening for a Painter/Life Safety Inspector. The work involves the responsibility for performing life safety inspections for all county facilities. Work includes inspections of AED equipment, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and fire doors. The position will also assist in maintaining and correcting life safety devices. This position will also be responsible for painting County facilities, including interiors and exteriors. Work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Facilities Maintenance Manager with considerable leeway to exercise independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work, and in making decisions regarding customer needs and requests and conducting project assignments. Supervision over others is not required of this position. Position does related work as required.
Work location: 306 Revere Road Hillsborough• This is a safety sensitive position and participation in the Drug and Alcohol Program is required. Background Check is required. Fitness for Duty Assessment is required.
