The Painter Helper will support painters in completing industrial painting projects efficiently and safely. Pay is $25-33 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, masking, and cleaning. Set up ladders, scaffolding, drop cloths, and other necessary equipment. Mix and match paint colors and materials under supervision. Load, unload, and organize painting tools and materials. Assist with applying primers, sealers, and paint to surfaces. Clean brushes, rollers, and other painting tools after use. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines on job sites. Perform other general labor or maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in painting or construction is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights and on ladders. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Reliable transportation to job sites.
