Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team at Mercer County Works. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various painting and renovation tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. Assist in renovation tasks such as plastering, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience in painting and general labor within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction techniques. Familiarity with power tools and safety protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with labor-intensive work. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
