Painter/Laborer Caracozza Plumbing & Heating 432 Ocean Boulevard North, Long Branch, NJ 07740 Job Summary We seek a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, remodeling, and the use of power tools. This role involves both interior and exterior painting and various labor tasks related to construction projects. The Painter/Laborer will play a crucial role in restoring and enhancing the appearance of residential and commercial properties. We will be spot-painting areas of the wall that we will be cutting into and replacing the sheetrock. You will need to be able to take samples of nearby paint. Take the samples to a local paint supplier for a paint match and then expect to paint the corresponding walls and ceilings with primer and the correct paint. Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes. Assist in remodeling projects, including fixture installation and trim carpentry. Utilize power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in plastering work as needed for surface preparation. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting or related fields. Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Knowledge of plastering techniques and materials. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Experience with remodeling projects, including fixture installation and trim carpentry. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
